Features to know about

Stops Rust Before It Starts: Dacromet Coating with 700-Hour Salt Spray Rating

If you’re tired of your trailer’s suspension rusting out after a few seasons, this 4-leaf spring fixes that for good. Its Dacromet finish protects the steel from corrosion caused by saltwater, road spray, and harsh weather. Tested to last up to 700 hours in continuous salt spray, it holds up far longer than standard zinc or powder-coated springs—perfect for trailers that see a lot of water or coastal air.

Built for Real Use: 4-Leaf, 1-3/4" Wide Double-Eye Design

This spring gives your suspension the strength and flexibility it needs to handle the miles. It’s a 4-leaf, double-eye spring built from sturdy steel and measures 1-3/4" wide with a 26" eye-to-eye length. With a 2,000-lb spring capacity (4,000-lb axle rating), it’s designed to handle heavier loads while keeping the ride smooth and stable.

Smooth Travel and Easy Replacement: 9/16" Eye with Nylon Bushings

Old, flattened springs can throw off your trailer’s alignment and make it bounce more than it should. This replacement installs easily onto your existing hangers with standard 9/16" bolts and comes with nylon bushings already pressed in place. The setup keeps the movement quiet and cuts down on friction for cleaner, smoother travel.

Long-Term Savings and Simple Maintenance

Rust-proof steel means less time on upkeep and more time towing. You won’t have to repaint or coat your suspension every season just to keep it from flaking apart. Replace your springs in pairs to maintain even support, and you’ll keep your trailer tracking straight, stable, and ready for more miles.

Excellent customer support if you have any problems

by:

I ordered a set of springs that were not adequate for my application. Called and asked about returning them and getting the 4,000lb set. The answer was yes and the new ones were shipped that day on a Sunday and arrived here in Texas a couple days later. The springs fit perfect and can handle the load quite easily. What a seemless and efficient process; especially Allison K for taking care of me!! Thank you to her and everyone at etrailer for having superior customer service. Keep up the great work.

by:

Exactly as advertised plus nice looking

by:

I have not pulled our travel trailer at the time of this review. However I don't expect any issues once I move my travel trailer.

Installation was fairly easy since I installed a similar size last year. Representative was helpful and understood my dilemma and tried to get the product to me as quickly and as cost effective as possible.

While waiting for the product to arrive I decided to buy another one at a local rv parts as a backup, but they sold me the wrong size. The told me it was a 26 inch, but it was about an 1/2 inch to long, and it made a difference when installing it. The fit did not look right so I took it off and installed etrailer's leaf spring and it worked just like the previous year.

by:

Good product. Bolted right on with ease to my tracker trailer. You need to purchase the longer u bolts because the stock ones aren’t long enough. Made a big difference in ride quality of the trailer.

  • Determining The Correct Replacement Leaf Springs For A 2021 Keystone Passport Grand Touring TT
You could potentially replace your leaf springs with a larger capacity spring but will need to match the length of your current leaf springs to avoid having to remove and reinstall the hangers and rest of the suspension system, which is a giant hassle and a lot more costly than just replacing the springs. If you have double-eye leaf springs you'll need to measure from the center of one eyelet to the center of the other. If you have slipper springs then you'll need to measure from the...

  • Looking For 26" Long 4-Leaf Double Eye Leaf Spring For Saltwater Single Axle Trailer
Hey Jason, thanks for reaching out. Yes, we do have 4-leaf 26" long double eye leaf springs like part # e48SR. I'd just want to make sure the springs are appropriately rated for your axle. The # e22YR spring is for a 4,000 lb axle (2,000 lbs per spring), so we'll just want to be sure this matches up with your axle. This spring has a dacromet coating which is good for marine/saltwater applications. What trailer do you have? Do you know the weight capacity of each axle?

  • Recommended 26" Long 4-Leaf Double Eye Leaf Spring for a 4,000 lbs Axle on a Boat Trailer
Hey Gavin. The 26" Long etrailer Rust-Resistant 4-Leaf Double Eye Spring item # e48SR have a 2,000 lbs capacity and are designed to work with 4,000 lbs axles but will work with lower rated ones as well. I'm sure these will be plenty capable of working with your single axle boat trailer. Our etrailer item # e48SR leaf spring measures 26" long from the center of the spring eye to the center of the opposite spring eye where they mount to your trailer's spring hangers. You'll definitely want...

  • Replacement Leaf Spring Recommendation for 26 Long Leaf Spring on 3,750 lb Axle
The 4-Leaf Double-Eye Spring for 4,000-lb Trailer Axles - 26" Long # e48SR is a good replacement for your boat trailer as it meets all of the specs and is compatible with an axle that's just a little higher when it comes to weight rating. Please note that what you do to one side of the axle you need to do to the other so you'll need 2 of these leaf springs.

Hey Michael, Leaf springs will naturally stretch out some over time so something more in the range of 26" eye to eye will be what you need. I'm not sure what weight rating you need, but we have the 4K etrailer Leaf Spring # e48SR which has that 26" length and a dacromet finish which is much more resistant to water than a standard powder coat is. I'm attaching a link to our selection of 26" long springs for you to filter through if this doesn't work for your application. You can also...

Hey Mike, thanks for the information! To replace your 26" long slipper spring, I recommend the 4-Leaf Double-Eye Spring item # e48SR. It's got a special coating that is perfect for a boat trailer that will protect against rust and salt corrosion. The item # e48SR spring is sold individually and measures 26" from eye to eye and has four leafs. It's designed for 4,000 lbs axles but it will not be too stiff for your boat trailer or raise your ride height. In addition to the leaf springs...

Hey Jeremy, I wish there was a way I could get you the length you'd need but trailer manufacturers do not record that info and make it available. It's not like cars where all of the parts are meticulously detailed. Only solution is to measure your springs without a load on them and go with a spring that is around 1/8 of an inch shorter. The most popular size is the 25-1/4 inch like the part # e93SR for a 4k axle but we also have a 26 inch long part # e48SR. If you have something different...

  • Can a Single Axle Boat Trailer Be Switched From a Slipper Spring Suspension to Double Eye
To switch to a Double Eye Spring # e48SR you would need to also change out your Rear Hanger # 30-20 since you will be adding Shackles # K71-358-00. This is required since the rear hanger has to be 1-3/4" wide on the outer versus at least 1-3/4" wide on the inner like you get with a Slipper Spring Hanger # CES83FR for a Slipper Spring # e33SR.

  • Looking For Replacement Leaf Springs For A 2000 Magic Tils Boat Trailer Model ALS1931
Hello Bryce, I can definitely point you in the right direction, although I do not have a way to look up your trailer to know what leaf spring you will need. When replacing leaf springs there are two big things we need to look at: the capacity of the axle and the length of the current spring. For example, the 4-Leaf Double-Eye Spring # e54SR is intended for a 3,500 lb axle and measures 25-1/8" long from center-eye to center-eye. If you can tell me the weight capacity of your axle, and...

  • Looking For Leaf Springs For A Triple Axle Boat Trailer
Hello Peter, thanks for reaching out. The closest thing to that we carry is the Dexter Double Eye Leaf Spring # 072-017-00 which is 20-1/4" long eye-to-eye. This is a 3 leaf spring made for a 2,000 lb axle. You did not mention the individual axle capacity of your trailer, but I doubt a 2,000 lb spring is going to be appropriate for your trailer. Aside from this, all of our higher rated springs will be much too long for you. It might be worth contacting a manufacturer like Dexter directly...

  • How to Determine Correct 4,000 lb Trailer Leaf Springs
I can help you determine the right replacement double-eye leaf springs for your Keystone Hideout, though we don't have any way of knowing what specific ones you need. It's pretty easy though, as all you need to do is measure your current leaf springs from center-to-center of the spring eyes. Leaf springs also flatten a bit over time, so you should go with ones that measure a bit shorter than what you currently have. For example, if your current leaf springs measure 26-1/4" center eye to...

In order to switch from slipper to double eye springs you'll need new hangers which are going to dictate your height so if you're looking to maintain the same height, you'd want to choose new hangers which are the same height as your existing. The Single-Axle Trailer Hanger Kit for Double-Eye Springs part # APS2 is a good option with 1-1/2" front and 1-1/4" rear. It can then be paired with the 4-Leaf Double-Eye Spring for 4,000-lb Trailer Axles part # e48SR. I also recommend replacing the...

Dexter 4,000 lb axle leaf springs like the part # e48SR for 26 inches long or part # e57SR for 25-1/4 inch would work great with a 3,500 lb axle. There would be no issue with 1,700 lbs of weight either.

  • Raising Trailer Suspension To Clear Rear Leaf Spring From Hitting The Crossmember
It appears you may have installed shackle straps which are longer than what you may have had. It appears your straps are either 3-1/8" # TRSL313 or 3-1/2" # TRSL350 and you likely only need a 2-1/4" # TRSL225. This would move the mounting point closer to the axle and raise the trailer approximately 1/2". To get enough height to clear your crossmember you will likely need the Lift Kit # RR23QX. This will allow you to raise the suspension either 1-1/4" or 2-1/4" to clear your rear crossmember. On...

Smart idea to get ahead of the problem, and there is a good upgrade for your Tracker boat trailer with a 3,500 lb axle. Since your current spring measures 26-1/4 inches from center of one spring eye to the center of your other spring eye, a 26 inch spring will be right, because leaf springs elongate and flatten slightly over time.
